New home

So far I've just moved all the posts from here and the bead blog but will be moving everything else when I get half a chance!

Messing around with blogs...

I've moved beading books and other bead-related stuff onto my beading blog (link is on the right, along with my photo blog link). The bead blog also has a snazzy new banner - if you use IE or Safari the banner is centred courtesy of a bit of CSS that Dave helped me with. Firefox, for some reason, keeps it over to the left. It will get some more content soon - I'm currently rather engrossed in making beaded flowers for a necklace kit Dave got me for Christmas(!)

Actually, I'm not going to change how THIS blog looks. I will have a bead blog and a dedicated photo-blog up very soon though.

Long time, no updates

Various things (some nasty bug, pressure at work, other assorted health problems at home) have meant I've not been keeping up with things here as much as I'd like.

However, I have created a new photo album called Bead Horde which has photos of things I've bought at bead fairs and on eBay (and, because of that, I've killed the Lingfield Park album and moved the contents to the new one!) If I can find photos of beads bought at earlier fairs, I'll add them, too.

I decided to kill off my blog that used to be at davidappleton.co.uk because I wasn't posting to it at all regularly and it had turned into a total spam comments trap, so Am has been everso nice and added me as an author here.

Don't know how frequently I'll post (if at all), but here I am! :-)
